Une plante grimpante ligneuse ou une vigne. Il perd ses feuilles au cours de l'année. Les jeunes branches sont minces. Ils ont des poils doux. Les feuilles sont de forme ovale aplatie. Ils mesurent 4-11 cm de long sur 3-10 cm de large. La base en forme de coeur ou plate. Il y a des dents inégales le long du bord. Les fleurs sont petites et mesurent 2 mm de diamètre.
